Me, Myself and I...

Before coming to university, my 18 year old self was very oblivious about the world to say the least. She only really cared about having a good time and what lipstick colour was better for her night out. Personal growth is a massive element when going to university, something I’ll always be grateful for. I now fight for equality in my everyday life by educating people in any way I can. I have a passion for fighting against gender norms and ensuring all women are empowered in their everyday life but also in their sexuality.. GIRL POWER! You may ask why this is relevant for getting a job in the TV industry? I feel it has great relevance. Me being a strong, independent and opinionated woman will help me in my future career. The TV industry needs strong women who can fight through a male dominated world and get those stereotypical ‘male’ roles. Only 20% of executive producers are female and I feel I have enough resilience and am motivated enough to become one of those women… watch this space!
